Indeed, I do use it as a standing desk as well! A monitor arm has a “VESA” style mount on the end. So what you need is a VESA laptop adapter. I’m sure you can find some on Amazon. Mine came with a desk I bought. It mounts on the 4 monitor (VESA) holes, and sits at a 45 degree angle so that the laptop is at a nice position.

Stumbled across your post, and tried mounting my monitor arm to the bolts on my Transit like you did, and lo’ and behold it fit perfectly. Would have NEVER thought of trying that! Thank you!!

How did you modify the monitor arm to serve as a laptop holder? Can it also be used as a sort of standing desk?
